Some of the girls wrote letters that they packed inside their shoeboxes.
Each shoebox was fully packed with hygiene products, school supplies, a clothing item, and toys. We're grateful to have received so many useful donations.
Our girls selected appropriate gifts to put inside each of the shoeboxes.
Good fellowship was shared and appreciated as the girls and their leaders selected items for their boxes.
Happy girls created happy turkeys for Thanksgiving fun.
Each shoebox was carefully packed with love.
Our church ladies are to be thanked for helping the American Heritage Girls pack these shoeboxes.
Special thanks go to Mrs. Furuya (Explorer unit leader) and Mrs. Hungerford for helping the girls enjoy creating Thanksgiving turkeys.
Each "Operation Christmas Child" shoebox was carefully packed by our girls.
When the shoeboxes were filled, we prayed individually for each, asking God to brighten the lives of every child who'd receive his or her own shoebox.

Praying Is Important!

Upon completion of a shoebox, girls and leaders prayed over it for its recipient.
Here, the AHG servant circle of girls prepares for their closing prayer.
"Dear God: Please bless every hand that touches this special gift box. Thank you. Amen."

Completion: Forty-Five "Operation Christmas Child" Shoeboxes Filled with Love and Care

Group-2 members are pleased with their productions.

Our troop's girls packed and prayed over their forty-five packed shoeboxes. Add to that number thirty-five shoeboxes that people from our church filled. In total, Big Trees Church dropped off to Samaritans Purse a total of 70 gift boxes that were given to needy boys and girls.
